Do you love your life? How long has it been since you woke up in the morning excited to live the day in front of you? Imagine how good you would feel in every area if you were energized, inspired and joyfully connected with your authentic life!
Ruth McGinnis, author, Juilliard-trained violinist and certified wellness professional, combines her wealth of knowledge and experience to address audiences on topics including well-being, life meaning and balance. At the heart of her message is the unshakeable belief that every day, people can make powerful choices towards a healthier, more balanced and meaningful life. However, she understands the challenge people face in the pursuit of these positive life changes.
Ruth’s own journey toward the authentic life began in her freshman year of college, when she faced a sudden weight gain. The subsequent ten years of crash diets and disordered eating left Ruth feeling empty and disconnected. Determined to live a more balanced life, Ruth began to make small changes that brought energy and joy back to each day.
When her music career brought her to Nashville in 1986, Ruth became certified as a personal trainer to help support her musical ambitions. Compelled by her own experience, she found herself helping others achieve success in an area where she had once struggled. Her renowned work as a personal fitness trainer to some of Nashville’s high profile musicians, including singer/songwriter Amy Grant, led to the publication of her first book, Living the Good Life, and the beginning of her career as an inspirational speaker.
Ruth’s message has inspired thousands of people along the time-honored path of trying to live the very best life. She is a master at helping people identify and better utilize their own deep resources of knowledge and inner wisdom, freeing them to bring their authentic potential to fruition. By weaving her music, inspirational stories and practical advice into an emotionally, physically and spiritually enriching experience, Ruth encourages participants to “blend the life of their dreams with the reality of the life they are living.” This process leads to a rediscovery of self, a deep love for the journey of life and development of well-being one small choice at a time.
The many paths I have traveled share the common thread of a relentless love for the journey of life
